To receive these channels you have to have a Sky Box with a "free to view card" The Freesat box has no facility of accepting any cards.
IMPORTANT NEWS
Recently a new satellite was commissioned to broadcast TV to the UK. This satellite has a beam covering all of Valencia Province. As a result viewers in Spain can now access all the English TV programs with a small satellite dish of 80 cm. There is no need to install a huge dish.
This satellite is in this position until 2013, when a new satellite will replace Astra 1n. At this point, the situation may well be very different in terms of the size of dish required to view the “free to view” English channels broadcast to the UK.
